Girl on the Go

The DSquared Fall 2009 collection debuted in Milan this week, and it brought back the idea of casual cool style. The looks epitomized the girl-on-the-go. Models strutted down the runway in large sunglasses with various Starbucks drinks in hand, as well as oversize bags with tabloid magazines peeking out.

The collection featured a great deal of accessorizing, with models wearing knit caps, scarves, and sunglasses while carrying their bags. The clothes offered an effortless, California-chic edge. It was the kind of collection a Hollywood starlet would wear on her day off. While there wasn’t anything new or edgy about it, the effortless cool and real girl style made it a collection worth checking out.

  1. This is a great collection because it is so incredibly accessible for everyone. You don’t have to go out and spend hundreds of dollars to attain it. Love the first outfit you posted with the baggy cargo shorts.
