Ever since I saw Whitney Port wearing the Manolo Blahnik ankle cuff sandals on her new TV show, The City, I fell in love. Ankle cuff sandals are great because they put emphasis on your ankles which, besides your wrists, are the skinniest part of your body. What more can a girl ask for in a shoe? You can wear them in the form of heels, flat sandals, or even in a variation of the gladiator sandal. Basically, these shoes can be summed up in one word: AMAZING.

I bought some flats with the ankle cuff last year and LOVE THEM. …can’t wait for summer to sport them again …however, 0ne day while wearing them, an older woman who works with me walked in and gasped “WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ANKLES?” lol

I too am desperate to find out what to wear with Ankle cuff shoes. PLEEEEEASE someone tell me? I don’t go out enough to find what other people wear with them. I have some gorgeous ones and they’re dead comfy, just not sure what goes with them!!!??

Ankle cuff shoes…flats and/or heels are definitely a trend that is here to stay for a while. you can where this style with just about anything. As a stylist, I get excited when my clients get excited about a trend I suggest…and cuff shoes is one! Rock them with leggings, skinnies, rompers, boyfriend jeans, shorts, minis…you name it and this trend will accent it! I have two pair from Bakers Shoes, Call Me, and two pair from Givenchy that I completely adore! Also, Steve Madden has a few pairs that will definitely be worth the investment! So, from day to night…dressed up or casual…cuffs will pull your outfit together!
